Google uses unique variables in the local ranking algorithm. However, Google's local algorithm and the organic algorithm are interconnected. Websites with good traditional SEO elements also get better rankings in Google's local results. We all seek the same goal, to achieve the number one search engine position for several specific keywords or phrases. You don’t merely want people to see your website. You want them to visit it, spend time on it and take the desired actions on it. Right now, using structured data and rich snippets will allow information from your site to appear right in the SERPs. This way, if someone searches for a recipe, they’ll be able to see the ingredients for your version before they even click on your link!
Things to avoid when dealing with local search
You shouldn't feel comfortable using robots.txt to block sensitive or confidential material. One reason
is that search engines could still reference the URLs you block (showing just the URL, no title or
snippet) if there happen to be links to those URLs somewhere on the Internet (like referrer logs). Do
you have enough
pages Do your mathematical analysis - the primary resources
are there for the taking. Its as easy as KS2 Maths
or ABC. Its that simple! around a specific topic area that it would
make sense to create a page describing these related pages (e.g. root
page -> related topic listing -> specific topic)? Do you have hundreds
of different products that need to be classified under multiple
category and subcategory pages? By default, WordPress uses the same Meta data stored in the header file (header.php) for each page. The key is to consistently deliver value so that people come to your site for answers. And this is also ironically what will get other good sites to link to your site. This is the perfect example of ‘emergent SEO’.
Make anchor text the main focus of your marketing tactics
Great content must start with specific intent (particularly, a very interesting topic). If you want to
link to somebody but you don’t want it to count as a vote (you don’t want to pass link-juice), or you support user-generated content and want to deter spammers, you can use a nofollow link. Google says it discounts the value of those links. I’m not convinced they discount them heavily, but other SEOs are so they seem to deter spammers if nothing else. Be careful not to include links within content that lead directly to the desktop or mobile version of a page. Even if the user will be switched to the correct URL based on their device, Google sees these types of links as a bad user experience. Basically, if search engines don’t understand your pages, those pages will fall out of the index and drop all of their traffic.
Define your goals with regards to anchor text
not only use a different format from normal desktop sites, but
the management methods and expertise required are also quite
different. This results in a variety of new challenges. While many
mobile sites were designed with mobile viewing in mind, they weren’t
designed to be search friendly. Social tools form a vast (and anarchistic) town square where anyone can post and instantly (yes, within a second or two) reach a billion people. Use facts, figures and dates whenever possible. People love comparisons and making the best comparisons usually requires coming up with some solid proof. Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull
, had the following to say: "The order that websites are ranked in is a very complex and technical process;"
High advertisement ratio can be mitigated by using conversion rates
There are a number of ways to get relative monthly search volume, but what remains the easiest is using Google keyword planner (the replacement for the now deprecated keyword tool). The main thing we
need to do to improve a sites authority is to improve its TrustRank. Block segment analysis dictates the value of weight / ranking factors a web page is given for a set portion of the page. What SMEs haven’t realised yet, is the fact that users are changing their user search behaviour in search engines (when they perform a query) on their mobiles or tablets.
