Producing content that ranks well is clearly an important part of writing for SEO. But it’s also about turning those visitors into paying customers. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google
Search Console, Ryte and HubSpot enable you
to examine many important details about your
website and its usage. For example, the HubSpot
tool can identify which organic keywords are
already driving traffic to your website. The same
is true of Google Search Console, which is free.
These keywords create a good base of core
keywords and give you a list of keywords that
you can use to measure the performance of your
future SEO efforts. For people who track their site’s ranking on Google Analytics on a daily basis, it is not surprising to see the ranking move between positions one and six. Many will ask; why is my ranking fluctuating this much? What should I do? You do not have to do anything! Do follow passes link juice (passes SEO benefits to the website that’s linked) and no-follow won’t.
Build backlinks with patience
If you are going to use freelancers, beware of duplicate content. Always make sure to check the content that you get by searching for the content on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Remember, there is no
such Do your mathematical analysis - the primary resources
are there for the taking. Its as easy as KS2 Maths
or ABC. Its that simple! thing as a one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to optimization strategies. For the most part, you’ll be relying on trial and error to pinpoint what works and what doesn’t for your brand. Like many of the other parts of the page targeted for optimization, filenames and alt text (for ASCII
languages) are best when they're short, but descriptive. If you are still basing your SEO strategy around keywords you should probably start to think a little bit deeper around user intent.
This story about nofollow links will haunt you forever
The methods vary from technical practices you can achieve behind the scenes on your website (we tend to refer to this as ‘on-page SEO’) to all the promotional ’off-page’ approaches you can use to raise your site’s visibility (link-building, social media marketing). Optimizing performance, however, is
a continuous process. Your site will never be fast enough because there’s always more to improve. Although it seems obvious, recent projects taught me that the campaign ads are not always matched to the relevant landing page, the keywords do not match the landing page’s content and tags, and the result is a drop in Quality Score and an unsuccessful campaign. Can your title tag be improved to be more user-friendly?
Naturally use the keyword throughout the content
The ultimate goal of any marketer is to create a diverse range of high quality backlinks from various credible sources. But not all marketers tend to achieve this pinnacle. It takes time and patience and a lot of strategizing and in the end it is never that straight forward and many marketers in the process tend to compromise on the quality of such links and end up deterring their own websites with toxic links. What is Google bot? ‘Content is the King’, it is rightly said as the ranking of the website is dependent on the content of the webpage. The content should be engaging enough that it attracts the users. In fact, Search Engines penalize the websites which are not updated regularly with the current information. The webmasters should make sure that while creating a website, the content should be logical and should consists of those keywords which will help the website to be easily traceable. Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull
, had the following to say: "In order to get the authoritative links that Google respects and sustain your search rankings, you need to concentrate on getting contextual links (i.e., links surrounded by relevant content)."
Consider page rank at the inception
Google’s Search Console offers a series of
useful services for web developers and site
owners to help manage search engine results,
optimise websites and identify any issues. At
its core, Search Console is a simple method for
alerting Google to your website and any changes
that have happened. A reputable website should
have great content which is relevant to its specific industry. A site with random and incoherent articles will be spotted by Google quickly, as it’s clear that the site has been set up purely to link to other sites. This becomes a bad backlink. I highly recommend starting off with building out resources their target audience would care about, want to share on social media, and want to link to. Numerous studies have documented that page one rankings are often in the 2,000+ word length and higher.
